Economic Empowerment
Economic independence is the greatest predictor of a survivor escaping ongoing violence in a relationship.
SPARCC’s Economic Empowerment Program has two phases:
- Assessment: Participants identify current interests, strengths, skills, resources and commitment level.
- Program Plan: Address financial literacy; employability skills; career exploration and identification; vocational training; job search and interviewing; mentoring; and ongoing support
